Finish
Finished with an environmentally friendly, non-toxic oil & wax finish emitting no VOCs.
The natural oils in the finish are food grade oils that polymerize through a process of molecular bonding and cross-linking, creating a durable, protective finish that becomes one with the wood.
Care
For cleaning and care, use a simple dry cloth, or one ever-so slightly dampened, to wipe down the dish. Avoid cleaning products that are wax based (such as Minwax) and instead lean towards natural plant based oil cleaners, if needed. If particularly soiled, a small drop of natural plant based detergent and warm water are all that’s needed. Hand dry with a towel. Do not leave standing liquids on surface.
With proper care, your furniture will last for generations. An occasional application of oil may be applied as needed, such as mineral oil or a butcher block oil.
